Connect an MCP client

1. Get your MCP URL

Sign in to Lore on Loop and open Connections. Copy the MCP URL shown for your Workspace. Use that URL so your client connects to the same service as your app.

2. Add your client

Claude

Add a custom connector using the copied MCP URL. Connect, then approve access in your browser.

Codex

Add a Streamable HTTP server named blocks using the copied MCP URL. Choose OAuth, save, then approve access in your browser. Connections also provides the matching Codex CLI command.

Other compatible clients

Use a client that supports Streamable HTTP and OAuth. Add the copied MCP URL, then sign in and approve access in your browser.

3. Start with saved context

Tell your agent which Universe, Beat and saved Prompt Revision to use. Check that retrieved context belongs to your intended Workspace. Review the exact proposed changes before accepting them; you choose Current Output separately.

4. Manage access

Revoke a connection from Connections. If access expires or is revoked, reconnect through your client and approve access again.

Open Connections — sign-in required

MCP access does not include a generation subscription. External generation tools and any provider costs are separate.

Connection boundaries

Your Workspace controls access

Your connection follows your authenticated Workspace and granted permissions.

You choose Current Output

Beat prompt revisions and Takes wait for review. You choose what becomes Current Output.

Grants can be revoked

You can revoke access at any time from your account settings.
